So on Friday Meaghan and I went down to the VA Ren Faire to drop off all of our stuff in the tent, then we headed off down to Glen Alan to see Nickel Creek :). I hadn’t seen them in three years and this was Meaghan’s first time seeing them. We had a great time, and Meag took some great pictures of the band (thanks Meag.) So now that I’ve stolen Meaghan’s camera, hehe ;), here are some of the pictures from the concert for all of you to enjoy. :)

Gaelic Storm concert - 5/13/06 - Towson, MD

Brynn and I left the Orioles game in the 8th inning and headed up to Towson for the Gaelic Storm concert last night. Once again, they put on a truly awesome show, and even though there was absolutely *no* *room* to dance, that didn't stop us! We step-danced, belly-danced, and head-banged (yes, we did, it was hilarious!) our way through much of their songs. :-) They're just too much fun to not dance to!
Here's a pic from the show, if you want to see more, I've posted the rest of them over on my blog "The Wood Between the Worlds" (http://www.marylandrenfairephotos.org/MRFPhotos). There are some VERY funny shots, this is just a normal one, hehe.
Enjoy!!

Happy (late) B-day Brynn! Hope all went well ;0)
I finally have an internet connection again (lol) ! Yay! It's been, what, a month?
Whew, what a crazy week it's been. Finally have a chance to catch my breath. I'm planning on calling you later today to catch up on things.
How's the weather been down in VA? Friday was...70 degrees here! I really enjoyed the SUN and warm weather last week! Now they're saying snow for Wednesday and this week's supposed to be back in the low 40s....*sigh* Well, at least it's starting to warm up. Gotta love NH. ("I come from the land of the ice and snow..." Lol!)
I miss you both so much! But the warm weather is coming (or in your case, already here)...and with it...faire season, more CG practices :0) and frequent flying miles! Lol!
Ha Ha I'm in a strange mood today... anyway, I have to get back to work now- no more goofing off. *sigh* I'll call you later.
Take care :0)

So, it's been a week today, I can't believe it. :-( Your Southern friends are missing their Northern ones, Kristen!! I have still yet to have the comp serviced...ugh oh...*g* you'll get a kick out of this, I'll have to call you about THAT one, though. Anyway, at some point in the near future, I'll be updating the CG's site with all (well, the good ones) of the pics we took in NH.
Brynn and I went out to Riversong today to figure out our new tent for VA Faire; the weather was gorgeous, though the wind was gusting at about 40 mph - not ideal circumstances for erecting a frigging tent for the first time! We laughed so hard I thought my sides would split as the two of us stood there (me swiggin' a Molson) admiring the finished product when the whole 10x10 thing took flight and nearly landed in the river. So there I went after it, Molson in one hand, hat balanced precariously on my head, and taking off for the flying tent before it reached its destination of the brisk mountain river. I managed to grab it with the other hand and not spill a drop of beer somehow. We'll be having a laugh about that for a while, I imagine.
Finally, I am posting a few of the crazier (though not all of them are) pics from last weekends St. Pat's celebrations, VA Faire promo pics, etc. And one of the beloved Fro, yo!

...still, I do have the belt...

Glad to see that both of you guys were successful at joining and posting! I'll figure out later on how to costumize this blog a little more. This will be a nice central spot to have!
Cheers!
